East Bower provides strategic advisory and consulting solutions in the areas of ecommerce, commercial operations, marketing, brand,  compliance, and business development to founders and executive teams looking to grow their businesses through new product, service or website launch, online development, international expansion, and scaling management.   

Caitlin O. Tormey Mongiardini

Caitlin O. Tormey Mongiardini is the founder and owner of East Bower Consulting. Caitlin is a global marketing and strategy executive with over 18 years of experience in the retail, art, apparel, media, and ecommerce industries. Caitlin was most recently the Chief Brand Officer of Knix where she oversaw marketing, merchandising and content. She was previously the Chief Commercial Officer at Naadam, a six-brand DTC portfolio company where she was responsible for ecommerce, marketing, brick-and-mortar retail, customer experience, shared services and post-M&A integrations.

 

Caitlin started her career at Christie's auction house where she served as Head of Ecommerce Operations. Caitlin was also interim-COO and Managing Director of Global Operations at Paddle8, the leading online marketplace for art and collectibles. Caitlin then worked at Conde Nast as Vice President of Art and Archive Development, where she established a new business vertical to monetize image content across the company's twenty-three editorial brands.

Caitlin was also a Reebok sponsored professional marathon runner and Olympic hopeful.  She finished in 23rd place at the 2008 Olympic Trials in 2:40.29.  Caitlin also took 13th place in the 2007 ING New York City Marathon and 7th place in the 2007 Chevron Houston Marathon. 

Caitlin is from New York and graduated from Princeton University where she received her BA in Art History. Caitlin received two MBAs from Columbia Business School and London Business School as part of a joint Global Executive Program.
